Haisafe® VTTS transition insitu to precast

Haisafe® has developed a special transition structure in-house that securely connects a slip-form barier and STEP-barier. This VTTS barrier has been tested full scale (BASt) and meets NEN-EN 1317.

By combining prefab barriers and in situ barriers, a weak spot is created in guide structures. In situations where a slip form barrier has been applied, piercing may be necessary for maintenance or calamities, for example. This cannot be achieved with a slip-shape construction. The prefab barriers, on the other hand, can be easily dismantled and then reassembled. Haitsma Beton has developed its own system for this and tested it full scale in accordance with NEN-EN 1317.
